This project is located in the old city of Hukou County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, on the site of the old academy south of Dazhong Road, and is being rebuilt on the original academy site. The project construction unit is Shizhongshan Cultural Tourism Development Group Co., Ltd., Hukou County, Jiangxi Province.
The land area of this project is about 5,847 square meters, and the construction area is about 1,600 square meters. The main construction content includes the main buildings such as Lingxing Gate, Dacheng Gate, Dacheng Hall, Chongsheng Temple, squares, environmental greening, etc., and the project investment is about 30 million yuan. It started on July 21, 2019 and was completed on August 4, 2020.

1. Restoration: This project is mainly based on the style and pattern of the Hukou Academy in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. By consulting a large amount of historical materials, it finally locked in the Tongzhi edition of the county annals academy map and the Tongzhi eighth year documents as the main academic textual research. At the same time, it referred to a large number of academy examples of similar ages for layout and style research, and focused on restoring the original appearance of the Hukou Academy.
2. Retro: The reconstruction of Hukou Academy not only focuses on the restoration of layout and style, but also strictly follows the "Qing-style Construction Rules" of Master Liang Sicheng in the specific design details. In terms of specific craftsmanship, the project is implemented in the form of pure wood structure and full mortise and tenon joints. At the same time, the proper use of cultural relics is taken into account.
3. Revival: The reconstruction of Hukou Academy is a project to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on inheriting and developing excellent traditional culture. It adheres to the concept of "development in protection and protection in development". It respects the system of traditional academies and the ritual system of Confucian worship of Confucius, reflecting the historicity of the academy, and combines the timeliness of socialist cultural construction, so that it has the social function of spreading traditional culture to young people, reflecting the timeliness of the academy. Therefore, in terms of specific use functions, it has both main functions such as the National Studies Lecture Hall, and also has derivative functions such as historical exhibition halls and vegetarian restaurants.
