Shanghai Jingwei Architectural Planning and Design Research Institute Co., Ltd. was founded in 1992, marking the official establishment of Pudong New Area during Comrade Xiaoping's southern tour of Pudong's development and opening up. Shanghai Jingwei is one of the earliest privately-owned design enterprises to simultaneously possess Class 3A qualifications; Having the qualifications for foreign contracting projects of the People's Republic of China and the first batch of EPC project general contracting pilot enterprises in Shanghai (one of 28 enterprises) is a vivid practice of the vigorous development of private enterprises since the reform and opening up.



For over 30 years, Shanghai Jingwei has been providing comprehensive services to homeowners in EPC engineering general contracting, planning consulting, planning, architecture, landscape, interior, signage, municipal engineering, lighting art, BIM, and more. Shanghai Jingwei has more than 700 professional and technical talents, distributed at its headquarters in Shanghai and 23 branches nationwide, with business covering the whole country. After more than 30 years of design practice, Shanghai Jingwei has accumulated a large number of distinctive businesses: national spatial planning, rural revitalization, urban renewal, health and elderly care, new urbanization, low-carbon and green, sponge city, smart city, construction of cloud platforms, cultural tourism, ecological construction, prefabricated buildings, BIM, etc.

Enterprise development
In 2010, with the joint approval of the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development, Jingwei International Design Group (LDG), a wholly-owned overseas subsidiary of Jingwei, was officially unveiled in Los Angeles, USA. It further strengthened its in-depth cooperation with designer teams in the United States, Japan, Spain, Hungary, Dubai, and achieved effective results. In recent years, the network of "Jingwei" has continuously expanded and extended to China. The established branches now include 19 branches in Chongqing, Shanxi, Nanning, Anhui, Fujian, Hunan, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Wuxi, Xinjiang, Yuxi, Zhejiang, Zibo, Kunming, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Yancheng, Jinan, etc.
